#30Layers30Days – Day 24: “Nice to Know”

What ideas/concepts/beliefs do you have that you find it hard to act on?  What advice do you give to others that you have trouble taking for yourself?  In what ways do you know better, but find it hard to do better?

Be bold! Be Intentional! Be committed to living your life for yourself – and no one else!

To act on the desires of your heart, no matter what the crowds may whisper into your mind. To be 110% honest with yourself and those that you love the strongest. Yes, feelings may get hurt. Hearts may get broken. But living in ones truth is the ultimate freedom for ones soul.

For someone who is tagged with the habit of pleasing others – of not letting her down, of not hurting him, of not disappointing them – it can be difficult to crush someone else’s reality with the truth of your own.

But it is to you that I urge with the deepest of urgencies – Listen to your heart and don’t be afraid to let go and take the action steps necessary to making your dreams & desires your truth.

I now know and believe in my heart that I Matter!!! Falling in love with me is one of the greatest feelings I’ve ever experienced. I now see a future for myself that is engulfed in joy, true happiness and love. But sometimes I get caught up in whether the choice I want to make is the right choice. My indecisiveness becomes multiplied to the max. My fears sometimes keep me from doing better, even though I know better!

Fears of making mistakes or hurting others sometimes keeps me from exercising that bold spirit that’s just dying to break free.

I can’t be afraid to make mistakes, but I also want to make sure I am doing what is best for me and the future that my God has prepared for me.

So my advice to you – know your heart and don’t allow your fears to interfere with the future you believe your God has prepared for you! Know better, do better!

Nice to know, isn’t it…
